Shipsterns Bluff near Port Arthur Tasman Peninsula, home of some of the greatest big wave surfing in the world." />
The Cradle Mountain Lake St Clair National Park is one of the most-visited parts of Tasmania. And any visit to Cradle Mountain isn’t complete unless you walk to Dove Lake. If you walk to Dove Lake in the Cradle Mountain section of Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park before sunrise, it is likely you will have the picturesque Dove Lake all to yourself. When you’re ready set out on the 5.8km Dove Lake circuit, or for a more strenuous adventure, aim for Cradle Mountain’s 1545m summit. This 13km/6-8hr return walk takes you past Marion’s Lookout to Cradle Plateau’s alpine area.
